I sincerely hope that you have all discovered my insane love of instagram, a place where I share anything and everything that I think, do, eat or think. It acts a bit like an insight into my life and helps you to get to know me better! I follow over 200 people including friends, family and obviously celebrities but these pictures are from celebrities as it is an invasion of privacy to share personal images of others! My favourite instagrammer has to be Kendall Jenner (@kendalljenner) who always posts simply gorgeous pictures that may make you hate yourself, but you love her even more! Similarly with Millie Mackintosh off Made in Chelsea (@camillamackintosh) as she is guaranteed to post adorable pictures of her pugs or Herbie, her french bulldog!
By the way, @jacksgap is a youtuber from England who is simply hilarious! I highly recommend popping along and watching a couple of his videos! Some may be british humour, but there are definitely those that are universal.

A Polyvore Collection

Following my recent discovery of polyvore, I have enjoyed compiling outfit ideas following any inspiration that other users may provide.
Here are a few looks below perfect for any summer or fall day!
[Don't you just adore the bright combinations of colour all tying in with the idea of sunflowers. This just has such a summery feel to it. Perfect for a day out in the city.]

[This look is just perfect for an evening out with the girls, not too dressy but still casual. I adore aviator sunglasses which add a boyish charm to this otherwise very feminine outfit]

[Now this outfit just screams city class. The simple monochromatic look presents the idea of a city slicker, very cool and collected.]

[Perfect for a day out in the fall. The comfort of an oversized knit jumper with simple acid wash jeans still provides a presentable front but still provides ultimate comfort]

[A glorious outfit for a summers day with the simplicity of a highwaisted short skirt and black crop top paired with sandals. The colourblocking here adds a fashion forward edge whilst still being in keeping with a simple look]

[The simplicity of the pastel colours with denim highwaisted shorts here is enough to make me love the outfit]

[This very hippie chic look would suit many of my friends with a gorgeous tall, stick thin figure; one that I shall be eternally jealous of!]

[This very Miley Cyrus- esque outfit really embodies the punk rock chic that she has paired beautifully with her new bleached locks]

Five Things

So although this is a five things post, I added an extra which I couldn't resist including!
These are all recent to me and I hope you enjoy!

{I bought these little dark wood elephants at a market in Thailand. Aren't they just adorable?}

{I finally finished making my business cards! How amazing are they?}

 {Daisy by Marc Jacobs is my new favourite perfume. I spent over an hour trying to decide whether to buy it or not because it is alot of money. It was worth it! There are hints of jasmine and after letting the scent sit for a while it ends up smelling like freshly cut flowers! Yum!}
 {I luckily managed to snag this gorgeous pair of sunnies during a sale in Topshop. They are such a change from my normal style but these have a more chic element to them.}
{I decided to replace my old plastic containers that I had on my dressing table that held my various cotton products with these old jam jars. It looks so cute!}

Sweet Treats: Cupcakes

Cupcakes are most definitely the 'in' thing right now and can be found worldwide. The great thing about these treats is that there are hundreds of flavours out there to try!
Whenever I come across a bakery or tune in to 'DC Cupcakes', I am inspired and attempt to ice my own cupcakes they way they ice theirs. Unfortunately, mine never turn out the same so I shall be sticking to the classic icing sugar and lemon juice method for now.

Pintrest has recently become the centre of my world and I came across some pictures of some amazing cupcake designs! I have never seen anything like it. I also discovered some of my own images that I had taken whilst in Saigon at 'Fly Cupcakes' which is a tiny store (30x10m!) that sells amazing cupcakes, but the extraordinary thing is that they actually bake the cupcakes in the actual shop. Behind the counter. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it, only in Saigon, eh?

{I apologise for the reflection in the glass}
 {Candyfloss flavoured, Green tea and White chocolate and Lime cupcakes}
 {Top: Rum Raisin, Cherry, Vanilla cranberry and Queen velvet}
{Bottom: Lavender, Green tea and Chocolate with a Berry icing}
 {Oreo, Pistachio and Orange}
 {Rum Raisin, Cherry Creamcheese, Vanilla Creamcheese and Chocolate Lava}

{Pintrest: Lemon Meringue cupcake}

{Pintrest: Smore cupcake}
{Pintrest: Strawberry with strawberry buttercream}

Wow, my mouth is watering just thinking of all the yummy delights! I'm just hoping that I have destroyed any of your dieting ideas! A treat once in a while is often well deserved.

Ciao bellas!

Mani Monday: Patriotic Nails

As everyone is aware, the Olympics are currently taking place and have been for the last three weeks.
As a huge athletics and swimming fan, I have noticed that many of the female athletes have been rocking amazing patriotic nail art!
These nails are absolutely amazing and they include flags to the Olympic rings. This nail art idea has become so popular that nail art booths have been popping up all over the Olympic village allowing both athletes and the audience to join in with the fun.

Here are some of my favourite nail designs:

Ellie Update: Vietnam

Hi everyone!
As you well know, I am currently in Vietnam! However, I have been unable to update my blog as often as I would have liked because blogspot is blocked here, which means I have to use proxy servers that are seriously slow!

So as I don't really want to spend ages on the internet due to costs, I decided to just post some of the pictures I have been taking around the country!

Mani Monday: Manicure Masterpieces

As I have mentioned in several other posts, I am a huge fan of manicures! So I recently had a look around on We Heart It and Pintrest to see if I spotted any amazing manicures! Here are some of my favourites!
I love the penguin one! It's just so adorable! The bow one is super cute as well!

I have been meaning to try and make myself a caviar manicure but apparently they only last a couple of days so I am still unsure as to whether I should try it or not!
I love the giraffe one and kudos to the person who spent hours finishing it!

The cupcakes manicure is my favourite and it sure looks good enough to eat. Yummy!

Both of these are timelessly elegant; who doesn't love their florals?

GTB: Gym, Tan, Blog

GTB, did you see what I did there?
Gym, tan and blogging are three things that I simply could not live without and the combination of the three leads to a healthier, happier Ellie!
But honestly, I am being serious.

As I am currently away, I do not always have access to a gym but I still try to do my best! It has been particularly tricky whilst I have been at the beach however, I have done my best. Every day of this holiday I have kayaked in the sea for an hour in the morning followed by an hour of swimming. Then in the afternoon I swim again for an hour however I incorporate some aqua exercises that strengthens and tones thighs and abs!
I love kayaking especially in the sea as the wind and current makes you work even harder which works them arms! Goodbye bingo wings!

I used to hate working out and considered it a chore but now I love the feeling afterwards! This is due to the endorphins released during exercise. The hard part is getting off the couch!

I bet you all are wondering how I fit in the tanning part, well the benefits of swimming and kayaking are they are both out in the sun which means you tan as you work out! Great combo!

Finally, the blogging. I blog primarily at night purely because it enables me to think about potential topics during the day and how I want to phrase them!
