Style Idol: Whitney Port

Whitney Port has such amazing style that I felt that I should write a post about her.
She has a unique boho style which is so simple yet put together.
Below are some of my favourite looks:

I really love her in all outfits above as she looks simply gorgeous. My favourite look of hers is with the blue shirt and beige trousers. It is such a simple outfit yet she really adds something to it making it more sophisticated and glamourous.

Festival Fashion Style Idol: Millie Mackintosh

Made in Chelsea is one of my favourite shows and Millie Mackintosh is definitely my favourite character!
I absolutely adore everything she does and love her fashion sense. Recently, the tabloids have been full of her festival exploits and her outfits of choice, I decided to compile a post which includes my favourite festival looks of hers.
*Note* Not all outfits are from 2012*

Making dressing for downpours and mud-soaked fields look like a walk in the park, Millie has nailed festival style.

Key to her look? Non-try-hard pieces like denim shorts and classic Hunter wellies – with a little bit of Chelsea bling in the form of silver studs – and the finishing touch, an amazing statement jacket. What, no cag in a bag? As if!

Here, Millie completely embodies rocker festival chic with a teeny tiny pair of denim shorts, a purple gilet, aviator sunglasses, studded hunter wellies and a trilby hat.

Jewellery of the Month

One thing I can never get enough of is jewellery. I always wear it no matter the occasion (ear studs don't count!).
On a typical occasion I wear my silver Tiffany's necklace which is a simple pendant of two interlinking hearts. It's so simple and classic, which is my reasoning for wearing it on an almost daily basis. My standard earrings are a simple pearl, classy and elegant. But when I go out in the evenings or on the weekends, I love wearing chunky gold necklaces and statement earrings. They just add something to any outfit.
The jewellery is as follows:
- Fragile Gold Leaf chain by Forever 21
- Gold leaf and wing pendant chain by New Look
- Chunky beaded bracelet by Accesorize
- Gold bejewelled teardrop earrings by Forever 21
- Turquoise and gold earrings were found at a flea market in Thailand

I love wearing bold earrings to MUN conferences especially as I often wear a black suit. Earrings definitely make the outfit way more fun.

Favourite Shoes

These are definitely my favourite shoes at the moment.
The heels, from New Look, I wore at both prom and several Model united Nations conferences. They may be ridiculously high, but they are unbelievably comfortable. They are black suede and I really like the zip at the back which makes them much more comfy than the typical strap. I adore the cutouts at the front especially the peep toe.
The coral flats are from New Look and are coincidentally suede-like material as well! I really love the little black bow detail at the front which just adds something to it. They look amazing with my purple cigarette trousers.
The final pair are Primark and were a real steal. They are incredibly comfy once broken in and the little metallic studs really help dress up the typical jeans and tshirt combination.
I also own a pair of brown moccasins which I wear almost on a daily basis but they are so battered that I decided not to post an image.
